Washington County will open a shelter of last resort for residents at noon on Thursday, 9/26/24.  It will close at noon on Friday, 9/27/24.  The shelter is located at 1535 Brickyard Road in Chipley.  Those sheltering at this location should bring bedding, snacks, prescription medication, and a valid driver’s license.  Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
