Chipley Tiger Baseball Senior Night
Chipley’s Tiger Baseball welcomed family, friends, and honored the class of 2024 senior baseball players. Twelve young men have been an integral part of the Tiger program this year, and the previous years, helping to win the first state championship for Chipley Baseball in 2023. On Tuesday, 04-23-2024, Chipley Lady Tigers Hosted the Arnold Lady Marlins Softball. The final score was 14-0. Lady Marlins win. 
On Friday, 04-19-2024, Chipley Lady Tigers hosted Vernon Lady Yellowjackets softball. The final score was 4-10. Lady Tigers win. 
On Thursday, 04-18-2024, Chipley Lady Tigers hosted the Malone Lady Tigers Softball. Seniors Navaeh Bellamy, and Izabel Henderson were Celebrated. The final score was 1-11. Chipley Lady Tigers win. 
On Thursday, 04-18-2024, Vernon Lady Yellowjackets Hosted the FAMU DRS Lady Baby Rattlers Softball. The final score was 5-17. Lady Yellowjackets win. 
Senior Night for VHS 1st baseman Riley Nance. Riley threw the first pitch to his mom and celebrated his Senior Night with his family and teammates last Friday. Vernon fell to Ponce de Leon by a score of 6-8. 
On 04-15-2024 the Vernon Lady Yellowjackets Hosted the Lady Wildcats of Bethlehem to a double-header. The final score in the first game was 2-13, Lady Yellowjackets win. The final score in the second game was 5-9, Lady Yellowjackets win. 
In 1974, Rogers Insurance Agency began as a dream by Gerald “PeeWee” Rogers. Standing the test of time and perpetuating 3 generations, for 50 years they have served Chipley and the Surrounding communities with their insurance needs. 
Jaci Renfro was recognized for competing in the FHSAA State Championships for the 129 Weight Class for the Olympic list. Jaci took 3rd place lifting a total of 310 lbs, which qualifies her for the National USA Heavy Weightlifting Meet. She will compete in the FWF Florida State Championship in 3 weeks and then the USAW National Championship in June.
