Washington County Public Library was delighted to have Sofia Talvik come for a musical performance on Monday, March 31st, at 4pm, at the Chipley Library. Unmistakably Nordic in flavor, Sofia somehow still conforms to American interpretations of her own original music, a North Sea siren blending sparkle and melancholy, creating a special niche of folk music. It made for an incredible hour of music as attendees listened to her melodious tones. Songs from her latest album, Center of the Universe, were well received. Sofia continues her travels in her 1989 Winnebago Warrior with her husband, across the United States with upcoming performances in Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
