On Friday, August 28, 2026, Vernon’s Yellow Jackets faced the Liberty County Bulldogs on Senior Night. Although the Jackets lost 70–0, the score does not define the team. The players worked hard throughout the game.
Seniors from football, cheer, band, and JROTC were also recognized for their contributions.
The Vernon cheerleaders supported the Jackets from the sideline, and the Pride of Vernon performed amazingly in the stands and at halftime.
Win or lose, we will continue to support our Jackets. Each game is a chance to learn and improve. Keep working, Jackets!
