On Saturday, December 13, 2025, the City of Vernon hosted its annual Christmas Bazaar and Parade, bringing residents together for a festive day in the heart of the community.
Local vendors were set up around the Town Square, offering a variety of items and refreshments, including drinks from Chipley Nutrition, treats from Vernon Recreation, and other local vendors. The petting zoo, also located in the Town Square, was a highlight for families and children throughout the day.
The Christmas parade began at 1:00 p.m., filling the streets with holiday spirit, colorful entries, and festive music performed by The Pride of Vernon band and other participants.
After the parade, families gathered at the old high school for photos with Santa, giving everyone a special way to celebrate the Christmas season together. Overall, the Christmas Bazaar and Parade was a joyful event that brought the Vernon community together to celebrate the holiday season.
