On July 4, 2025, the city of Vernon hosted a parade and celebration for Independence Day. The event began with a parade. Right after that, the celebration continued at the Sportsplex. There were several different vendors as well as live performances by local artists, including Leah Pettis (along with her daughters) and Christon Birge. Everyone had a great time enjoying the music, food, and activities. The night ended with an amazing fireworks show around 9 p.m. Thank you, Vernon, for a wonderful time with family and the community!
