Rachel Lea Anderson, 42 of Chipley, passed from this life on December 23, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Rachel was born on June 13, 1982 in Panama City, Florida to Curtis Wayne Goodwin Sr. and Rosemary Nelson. She was a lifelong resident of the Florida Panhandle and was of the Christian faith. Rachel was a wonderful caretaker, whether it be for her family or the many animals she loved, especially rats. She enjoyed working in construction and running the paper route for the Panama City News Herald. Rachel will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her daughter, Lani Nakita Anderson of Chipley, Florida; mother: Rosemary Nelson Perkins of Chipley, Florida; brother: Curtis Wayne Goodwin Jr.; one grandson.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements.
