James Richard Smith
James Richard Smith, 56 of Chipley, Florida, passed away on January 5, 2025 at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay in Panama City, Florida.
James, best known as Jamey, was born on February 27, 1968, to James Smith and Patricia Brown Smith. He was a plumber by trade and worked for his parent’s business at High Plumbing for many years. Jamey loved working in the yard and going to car shows with his father. He was also a member Christian Haven Church. He will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents: James and Patricia Smith; brother: David Smith.
He is survived by his wife: Sherry Finch Smith; daughters: Emily Smith of Chipley, Florida and Kathy Walker of Wausau, Florida; son: James Finch of Chipley, Florida; grandchildren: Mavery, Brayden, and Jorden.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements.
