February 17, 2026- Marianna, FL – Jackson Hospital is proud to announce that Angie Rohlfing, a Social Worker in the Case Management Department, has been named the hospital’s 2025 Employee of the Year.
Ms. Rohlfing has been a valued member of the Jackson Hospital team for several years and was selected for this honor by her peers in recognition of her compassion, dedication, and commitment to patient-centered care.
Angie consistently goes above and beyond in her role, ensuring patients receive not only the clinical support they need but also the personal encouragement that can make a meaningful difference in their recovery. In 2025, she worked closely with a young Emergency Room patient, helping coordinate his follow-up primary care and oncology appointments to ensure continuity of care. During his hospital stay for port placement, Angie provided hands-on support by assisting with meals and bringing him some of his favorite foods to help make his experience more comfortable.
Even after discharge, Angie continued checking in with the patient, encouraging him to remain engaged in his treatment plan and keep up with his medical visits, a reflection of her genuine concern for the long term wellbeing of those she serves.

Her work demonstrates the vital role social workers play in improving outcomes and supporting patients through some of life’s most challenging moments.
