Mr. Arthur James Pittman, Jr., of Jacob City, FL, went home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2021.
He served his country in the United States Army, and received an honorable discharge.
Mr. Pittman was preceded in death by his father, Arthur “Shag” James Pittman, Sr.; a brother: Mark Pittman and a sister: Angela Daneen Pittman.
Arthur leaves precious memories with his mother, Lorene Pittman of Jacob City, Florida; son: Clifton (Maribel) Pittman; a granddaughter, Naomi; siblings: James Thomas, Ulysses (Joni), Darrell (Marzella), Charles (Elaine), Victor (Edna), Leartha (Henry), Anetha (Reverend Felix), Shirley Pittman Sims and Donna Pittman (Reverend Curtis); aunts and uncles: Willie James Pittman, Sr. (Mildred), Joe Pittman (Evelyn), Dorothy Bailey, Lena Malone, and Lois Pittman; nieces and nephews: Charlotte (Earl), Kita (Shantel), Angie (Jeff), Trellis, Melissa (Gary), Anthony, Benji, Benita (Reverend Robert), Ashley, Maya (Jay), Carlos, Jarrod, Broderick, Tameco, Issac (Letha) and Chimorrie; great nieces and nephews: Chatala, Warren, Aaron, Amari, Quijada, Jadarius, Robert III, Breonna, Nariah, Aidan, Shylia, Tristan, Dominique, Ava-Rose, Jacob, Micah, Tabria, Shanqua, Taneia, Tavion, Ayanna, Qitotis, Raven, Maurice, Niya, Takiyah, Torriana, Trent, Dashia and Brooklyn; great-great nieces and nephews: Jaydis, Tar’Lynn, Kaylee, Ashton, Kaylee and Kwanie; god sisters and brothers: Lorestine Pittman (John), Roslyn McKinnie, Jacqueline Jones, Mary Catherine White (Robert), Temetri Jackson (Reggie) and George Hall; numerous other relatives and friends.
Public visitation with social distancing and facial coverings observed, will be 4-6 PM, Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in the M. Sue & Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel, 5441 Cooper Street, Graceville, Florida.
A celebration of life will begin at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Jacob City, Florida, with military honors, under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, Florida.
