Charles Devon Skipper, age 67 of Bonifay, passed from this life on August 3, 2020 at his sister’s home surrounded by his loving family.
Devon was born on June 23, 1953 in Pensacola, FL, to Charles Kenneth Skipper and Audrey Gilley Waller. He was an all around outdoorsman who enjoyed being in the woods fishing, camping, and hanging out with his dog, George. Devon also loved to play music, work on cars, and spend time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father: Charles Kenneth Skipper; two brothers: Kenny Skipper and Allen Skipper.
He is survived by his son: Jerry Bardin of Chipley, Florida; daughter: Paula Norman and husband Brian of Pensacola, Florida; mother: Audrey Waller of Bonifay, Florida; sister: Debbie Skipper of Bonifay, Florida; brothers: Ronny Skipper, Timmy Skipper, and Keith Skipper, all of Bonifay, Florida; grandchildren: Heather Norman, Jessica Grubbs; great grandchild: Bella Grubbs; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and loved ones.
A memorial service will be held in his honor 5 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Pleasant Hill Free Will Baptist Church in Bonifay, Florida, with Bro. Waylon Skipper and Bro. Daniel Skipper officiating. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida, in charge of arrangements.
