Hurricane Michael debris removal paused for Halloween safety

Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) crews and contractors will suspend debris removal and disposal services across Northwest Florida beginning at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31 to promote safe trick or treating activities.

FDOT personnel will coordinate with debris removal contractors during this time to review and reaffirm proper safety procedures. Normal hours of operations for debris removal will begin again on Thursday, Nov. 1.
