Park recognized at School Board meeting

The Washington County School Board recognized retiree Mike Park with a plaque when they met for their monthly meeting Monday, May 8. After serving the district for 34 years in positions ranging from teacher to principal, his final position was in the district office as director for Maintenance/Transportation/Facilities and Operations.

Volunteers involved in Florida Panhandle Technical College’s VITA program were also recognized, and presented with a check.

Maria Pouncey, NASDME National LEA/LOA Migrant Administrator of the Year, was also recognized Monday night.
