Alma Louise Williams, 88 of Hartford, AL formerly of Southport, FL, went to her Heavenly home Monday, December 12, 2016.
Home-going service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Plummer officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home directing.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home 10 a.m. until time of service.
Ms. Alma was born in Holmes County, FL on January 25, 1928 to the late David Glass and Thelma Lee Wilson Glass. An Alumni of Poplar Springs High School, Ms. Alma had a servant’s heart and was a caregiver to many people over the years. She was a member of Calloway First Baptist Church.
She is predeceased by her husband Charles Quinton “C.Q.” Williams and one son David Hicks.
She is survived by two daughters Sandra Ortiz, Pensacola, FL, Jane Oder and husband Charles, Dothan, AL; brother Hubert Glass, Chicago, IL; sister Mary Phillips, Dothan; three grandchildren Tony Ortiz, Michael (Julie) Scarborough, Chrissy (Ronnie) Wessinger; six great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
