Graveside & Committal Services for Charles Derrick Hogans, “Nimmy”, will be held 3 P.M CST, Sunday, December 11, 2016 in the St. Luke Memorial Gardens of Vernon, Florida with Min. Debra McGhee, officiating. Visitation will be from 9 A.M. -8P.M. Saturday and from 9 A.M. to 12 Noon at the Cooper Funeral Home Chapel of Chipley, Florida.
He leaves cherish his memory his two sisters: Teresa (Mike) Gonzalez of San Antonio, Texas, Angela Jones of Fayetteville, North Carolina; brother: James (Renee) Hogans of Panama City Beach, Florida; step-father: Albert Holmes of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; uncle: Freddie Hogans of Pensacola, Florida; two aunts: Sylvia Hogans and Vida Campbell of Vernon, Florida; many other relatives and friends.
A Service of Remembrance was held 1 P.M. CST, Saturday, December 3, 2016 from the sanctuary of the St. Luke A.M.E. Church with Rev. Willie E. Brown, officiating and Rev. Gloria Wynn, pastor.
Charlie was a 1986 graduate of VHS served in the United States Marine Corps and worked many years in the construction industry with the AC McKinnie Construction Company.
