Arrest made in home invasion

Three arrested in home invasion on Bennett Drive.

On December 1 at approximately 11:40 p.m. the Chipley Police Department, with assistance from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, executed arrest warrants on three subjects. The arrests were made following a home invasion on Bennett Drive in Chipley.

The Chipley Police Department was able to develop leads and identify three subjects which led to a quick and successful conclusion to the investigation.

Margarette Velliquette, 3486A Kennel Road, Vernon, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, and armed burglary.

Dana Velliquette, 3486A Kennel Road, Vernon, was arrested and charged with property damage, criminal mischief, and armed burglary.

Matthew Shook, 1339 Estelle Avenue, Chipley, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, and burglary.
