Walcott obit

Ephraim Walcott was born October 3, 1941, in Trelawny, Jamaica, to the late Radford and Leanora Walcott.  He later moved to the United States, New Jersey, by the way of London, England. Ephraim was a certified electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He traveled to various cities throughout the United States, even venturing out to sea, all the while making  numerous friends along the way. He loved living and lived a flourishing life until November 16, 2016.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley A. Green-Walcott, sister, Letie Delpratt(Loganville, Georgia), brother, Morris Walcott(London, England), seven children, Glen Walcott(Jamaica), Claude P. Walcott, New Jersey, Sonia Y. Walcott, New Jersey, Glenford  G. Walcott(Debora), New Jersey, Audrey M. Smith(LeRoy), New Jersey, Thomas Ferguson, New Jersey, Kaitlin I. Walcott, Stone Mountain, Georgia, stepdaughter Lena E. Banks(Terrance), Snellville, Georgia, eight grandchildren Tanesha Walcott, Dante Walcott, Daniel Walcott, Naomi Walcott, Robert Smith, Danielle Smith, Christopher Smith, Abdullah Ferguson and two step grandchildren, Terrance Banks Jr., and Liam Banks, four sister-in-laws, Willa Q. Peterson (Paul), Vernon, Florida, Gwendolyn March, Vernon, Florida, Rev. Vivian Green, Valdosta, Georgia, Portia Green, Vernon, Florida, five brother-in-laws, Wilmar Green Jr.(Carol), Decatur, Georgia, Isaac J. Green(Joyce), Panama City, Florida, Alonzo J. Green(Janet), Toledo, Ohio, Roger G. Green(Miranda), Bonifay, Florida, Sean M. Green(Angela), Sunny Hills, Florida, loving niece, Chryse D. Home Going Services will be held 1 PM CST from the sanctuary of the New Bethel AME Church of Vernon, Fl with Rev. Vivian Green, officiating and Rev. Hazel Vience, Pastor.  Committal Services will follow in the Sylvania Cemetery of Vernon, FL with Cooper Funeral Home of Chipley, FL, directing.  Mr. Walcott will lie in repose at the church 1 hr. prior to services at the church.
