Drivers will encounter traffic variations on the following state roads in Washington and Holmes counties as crews perform construction and maintenance activities.
- State Road (S.R.) 2 Roadway Testing Operation at Choctawhatchee River Bridge- Intermittent lane closure on the eastbound approach of the Choctawhatchee River Bridge from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9 and Thursday, Nov. 10 as crews perform roadway testing.
- U.S. 90 Routine Maintenance from the Holmes/Washington County Line to east of the Community South Credit Union- Alternating and intermittent lane restrictions from the Holmes/Washington County line to east of Community South Credit Union in Chipley beginning Monday, Nov. 7 and continuing through the end of November, excluding holidays, as crews perform striping work. Lane closures will be in effect Sunday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- S.R. 77 over Hard Labor Creek Routine Bridge Maintenance- Traffic will be reduced to one lane over Hard Labor Creek, two miles north of Wausau, from 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7 to 4 a.m. Nov. 8 as crews perform routine maintenance operations.
Drivers are reminded to use caution, especially at night, when traveling through the construction zone, and to pay attention for workers and equipment entering and exiting the work area. All activities are weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
