Mrs. Dollie Mae Smith Douglas of Panama City, Florida will celebrate her 100th birthday on November 2, 2016. She is the mother of the late M. Sue Pittman, sister of the late, Lacey Siler; and mother-in-law of Donald J. Pittman of Graceville, FL. Dollie was born and grew up in Slocomb, AL.
A pre-birthday celebration was held on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at her home church, Countyline Missionary Baptist Church, Slocomb, AL, which was well attended by family and friends. She received birthday greetings from Governor Rick Scott of Florida, Alabama Senator Harrie Anne Smith.
Her favorite sayings and keep her going, “I’m Sending Up My Timber, Everyday”.
Dollie is a member of Saint John Missionary Baptist Church, Panama City, Fl and a resident of the Panama City Nursing Center.
