HCHS Showcase begins Thursday

Holmes County High School Drama/Music Department will present Showcase 2016  this Thursday, October 20, & Saturday, October 22, beginning at 6:30PM at the HCHS Auditorium.

The showcase will feature music from the last 10 years of musicals presented at HCHS and performed by this year’s HCHS talent. Productions will include Bye, Bye Birdie, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Grease, Into the Woods, Back to the 80’s, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Smokey Joe’s Café, Cats, The Drowsy Chaperone, Smoke on the Mountain, The Little Mermaid, and more.

Songs will include Bye Bye Birdie, Grease Lightning, We Go Together, Steps of the Palace, No One Is Alone, 500 Miles, Lost In Your Eyes, You Give Love A Bad Name, Gimme Gimme, Baby that Is Rock & Roll, Hound Dog, Jailhouse Rock, Do Re Mi, Sixteen Going On Seventeen, Memory, Show Off, Smoke On the Mountain Medley (Angel Band, Church In the Wildwood, Farther Along, and more), Part of Your World, Under the Sea, plus many more.

There will be a live band that will include Sam Nolen on the sax, Bobby White on the banjo/harmonica, Hayden Tadlock on drums, Jacob Music on bass, John Etheridge on guitar, and Ricky Ward on piano.

There will be some important audience participation and a special tribute that you will not want to miss.

Tickets for this production are $5 and can be purchased at the door only.

Show time is at 6:30PM and the doors open at 6:00PM.
