Presbyterian Church to celebrate 120 years

fpcGreetings from Chipley’s First Presbyterian Church! As the celebration of the 120th anniversary of the organization of this congregation draws closer, we are excited that so many of you are making plans to join us! We have been doing many great things on campus to prepare for your arrival and look forward to seeing you for an exciting weekend of strolling down memory lane, enjoying great entertainment, and worshiping the one who brought us all together, our God.

The First Presbyterian Church of Chipley will celebrate its 120th anniversary, October 14-16, with a full weekend of events and celebration. This celebration will give members, friends, and well-wishers the opportunity to pause and give thanks for the longevity of the Chipley Presbyterian family of believers which began on October 18, 1896.

Below is the schedule of events for the entire weekend of October 14-16, 2016. Please review the schedule and plan to attend the numerous events throughout the weekend. For your enjoyment and entertainment on Friday evening, October 14th, we will welcome the female a cappella ensemble, The Sweet Adaline’s. On Saturday evening, October 15th, Rachel Webb and Kevin Russell will present a dueling pianos concert featuring tunes from across the decades. This concert will be presented in memory of Edna Myers and Margaret Ann Dixon, past pianists and organists of this church.

We hope that you will be able to attend the numerous events taking place on campus throughout the weekend! We are looking forward to seeing you October 14-16, 2016 for this milestone celebration in the life of the First Presbyterian Church of Chipley!
