Daniel Wesley Cole was born on December 22, 1929 in Spearville, Kansas. Daniel joined the Navy where he served during the Korean Conflict, then went to work for the U.S. Border Patrol and enjoyed that immensely. Following his retirement from the U.S. Border Patrol he relocated to Alabama where he went to work for Alabama Power at the Farley Nuclear Plant. Daniel then moved to Marianna in 1990 where he owned a small horse farm. He enjoyed riding his horses and would take yearly trips to Colorado to round up cattle with his friend Floyd. He met and married his beloved wife, Cecelia and moved to Cottondale where they traveled and enjoyed spending time together for the past 10 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marianna. Daniel was a rock and always there for everyone. He will be greatly missed, but is in a better place.
