Washington County Extension Agent UF/IFAS Matthew Orwat remarked, “This time of year the farmers are winding up with their summer produce and getting ready for the fall. Not everyone knows, but this market is not just for farmers. We would be pleased to see it being used by our crafters and artisans marketing locally made art, jewelry, baskets, woodcrafts, birdhouses, etc.”

Museum director Dorothy Odom stated, “The pavilion and green lawn already see quite a bit of activity – photo shoots, basket weaving, Christmas festivities, scarecrow fest, family reunions, gardening programs, and more.”
